Musah is figure 16 of the sixteen figures of Ilm al-Raml, in the order taught in The Master of Geomancy. It is the last figure, coming after Usman. Like every figure, it can appear in any of the sixteen houses of a chart, and each time it lands somewhere new, it has something different to say.
Pattern (top to bottom): two dots; two dots; two dots; two dots.
Element: Fire. It shares this element with Yussif, Adam, and Kalla Allahu.
Musah at a glance
Musah is the only figure with two dots in every row, the heaviest of the sixteen and the one that closes the sequence. Under the addition rule it is the figure that changes nothing: add Musah to any figure and you get that same figure back. Its exact opposite is Ibrahim, figure 5, which has a single dot in every row.
What does Musah mean?
That depends on where it falls in your chart and what you’re asking. The same figure can carry a very different message in the house of wealth than in the house of marriage. Learning to read those shifts is the heart of Ilm al-Raml.
