Nuhu is figure 12 of the sixteen figures of Ilm al-Raml, in the order taught in The Master of Geomancy. It comes after Ali and before Hassan & Hussein. Like every figure, it can appear in any of the sixteen houses of a chart, and each time it lands somewhere new, it has something different to say.
Pattern (top to bottom): two dots; two dots; one dot; one dot.
Element: Air. It shares this element with Mahadi, Umar, and Ali.
Nuhu at a glance
Nuhu is weighted at the top: two rows of two dots sit above two rows of one. Read its rows from the bottom up and you get Kalla Allahu, figure 9, a Fire figure, so the two make a matching pair across elements. Nuhu is the last of the four Air figures in book order.
What does Nuhu mean?
That depends on where it falls in your chart and what you’re asking. The same figure can carry a very different message in the house of wealth than in the house of marriage. Learning to read those shifts is the heart of Ilm al-Raml.
